Let's call it mood-art

At the moment for me it is the worst time of the year, exams. But during my breaks I try to spend my time to things that make me feel good and also do things that make me feel relax. Yesterdag I was experimenting with my Nikon. I made some close-ups in my room. Lets call it mood-art :-) because making pictures can have a big influence on my mood-status.

Of course, music is one off the most importants thing during the exams.
It helps me when I'm in a bad mood.
Mostly I prefer songs made earlier than the nillies (2000).
I really regret that I was not born earlier ;-)

Born in the wrong country

Maybe you already know, but I really Like German movies en televisionprograms en movies about Russia, Sovjet Union etc. I don't know why but I really like the way those people think and live. No all of them, but some of them live very primitiv. They are easily satisfied. They don't need much to be happy, and that is just great. I just want to show you a Belgian (Flemisch) televisionprogram about Siberia (2006). Martin Heylen went to Sibera in the winter an he has met a lot of people. In summer het went back to siberia to meet those people again and show us the diffrent between Summer and winter. I think I was born in the wrong country... Belgium is ok, but there are so much more beautiful places in the world and I think we are tu used to le luxuery and most of the people are not happy anymore with little thing...they just want more and more and more.. I think people don't know the real values in life anymore. Beain healty en have everything to survive is not enough. So that's why I love those people who live with less comfort and money as we do.

I also really love the music that was used in the into of the program: Churchill's Misake by Garry Bell (the song is also the soundtrack of the film 'Beautiful people by Jasmin Dizdar - 1999, a movie I really want to see later on)

First Episode of 'Terug naar Siberiƫ' ('Back to Siberia')
(Sorry, there are not always subtitles , but just enjoy the view!)

Rooftops are magic

A few years ago I was studying in Brussel, but I really misses that great City a lot, so I try to go to Brussels often. I think I really like to go to live in Brussels later. When I am in Brussels, it feels like coming home. I don't know why, but every time I'm there I feel happy. Maybe it because of the multicultural society in the city, the diversity. Also the secondhand shops, the little shops that are not situated in the big schopping streets. When I go to BXl I really need to go to the rooftop of Parking 58. It is the 10the floor of a big parking, the view is amazing. I like to go to the roof just to chill with some friends. BXL is a very nice city with a lot of hidden places you must discover.

Bought this blue jacket in Brussels at Think Twice,
a vintage secondhandshop.
The tie I also bought at Think Twice but in their shop in Antwerp.

Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair

Flowers. They are BEAUTIFUL! Flowers are very important to colour this dark world. This whole week I was thinking about the song of scott McKenzie. It let me think again of Woodstock. I really regret I did not lived in the years of Flower Power, it must have been amazing ... Woodstock... Musicians like Jimi Hendrix, Joan Baez, Janiz Joplin, Jefferson Airplane and The Who.

Times you must experience

Yesterdag I have been watching my favoutite Movie again... Yes,... Again. The movie is just so perfect to me. Every time I'm watching 'Dagen zonder lief'or 'With friends like these' in Englisch, I just feel like it is like real life. Everything is so perfect also the moments when people in the movie are arguing it feels right. The right music at the right time. That is just like when I'm at my bycicle or on the train when I'am listening to my MP3, I always imagine I'm in a movie... This is what makes the movie so pefect to me:

The Quiet moments (a feeling i can't discribe, but feels so awsome to me...), the totally empty spaces, places, highways, doubts like everyone has got, ... Just the really lovely music - from great composers and musicians - at the right moment.

Just stay positive!

Also when things went wrong, just stay positive, because you're worth it to be happy ... always.

When the summer is comming...!

I love the moment when you can go out without wearing a jacket, when you can feel the first sun on your skin, when you can feel the wind that is blowing in your face... The little things in life makes my life so perfect!
